The series Exotic Thoughts From a Non-Tropical Place includes a series of engraved granite pieces, a sound piece (mix of exotic birds chirping and spray paint sounds) and an installation.
Digital sketches are engraved on found granite pieces with laser. I am interested in the process where notes and fragments take on a permanent character, reminiscent of a monument. Granite pieces are found objects in a pedestrianized public space.
