Frontier / 2018 / spray paint o bleached denim, pieces of jeans textile, metal and concrete / Brussels, Belgium

The 8m long denim cloth act as a physical boundary that divide the space and interacts with it. “Frontier” is an assemblage made of bleached denim cloth pieces and spray paint supported by a metal and concrete construction. Here, I am interested in situations such as, urban life, graffiti tags, territorial disputes and slogans on walls, while exploring a psychological space where individual expression confronts social constraint, and the traces left by these interactions.
