The project was made in the context of Remainders workshop in the Netwerk institution in Aalst, Belgium. When I write or paint, texts that I have read and images that I have seen elsewhere emerge as latent memories. In this case, the work investigates this process in relation to the remnants of an identity. Seeing the action as the recording of an autobiographical situation in relation to the reuse of the building that houses Netwerk, I look for the possibility of establishing a promise for a possible future, through latent memories and remnants from a past.
