Love Letter

Love Letter

Love Letter consisting of two interrelated works, presented in the framework of the exhibition Foundations, Hydroexpress Project, Piraeus, 2019. In both of them I use everyday materials and random findings (objets trouvés) following a process that oscillates between chance and intentionality. Central to these works is the versatility and the way of redefining the materials that are perceived as containers of data and information that we carry and reintroduce in the space, in our social behaviors and in the patterns of our daily lives. Fragmented information and traces that coexist, ultimately create a new environment or a new condition. I correlate this condition with the concept of "kludge", as an action that connects a collection of poorly-matching parts, forming a distressing whole, as an act that opposes the factory-made objects and carries traces of something humane.
