”No man’s land” is searching the notion of the gesture of marking a part of the urban landscape and the boundaries of an unoccupied property. This process raises concerns about the issue of appropriation of land and space, oscillating between the notion of artistic process and vandalism, and the transition of them into the institutional context of art.

“ As you write or paint, works you have read or images you have seen elsewhere are present in your work as latent memories.” In this case, the work investigates this process in relation to the artist’s identity and the remainders of the artistic process. The work engages an autobiographical based situation and the action of burying painted concrete blocks, in order to create the narrative of setting foundations through the latent memories, while seeking a promise in the future within remainders.
